OmyEarth plants GPS geo-tagged native trees with 5-year maintenance cycles and IPCC Tier-2 carbon tracking โ because planting is easy; making trees survive is the real work.
Trees planted in India never live to see their second birthday. Not because of bad intentions โ but because the industry measures planting, not survival. Plantation drives end at the photo-op.
See how we're different โMost drives end after Day 1. No watering schedule, no protection, no accountability for what happens next.
Corporations fund green initiatives but receive no credible, auditable carbon reduction metrics in return.
Donors can't track "their" tree. No GPS coordinates, no girth measurements, no proof of survival.
Plantation drives bring outsiders; the local Kudumbasree network and tribal communities are rarely integrated.
Every tree we plant is monitored, measured, and reported โ from sapling to canopy.
KFRI-guided native species selection for Kerala's soil types and microclimates. Every location is scouted for survival probability before a single sapling is ordered.
Every tree gets an exact GPS coordinate logged at the moment of planting by our Kudumbasree field team. Your tree exists on a map โ forever traceable.
Every 6 months, trained field staff measure girth at breast height (GBH). This data feeds directly into the IPCC Tier-2 biomass equation to calculate actual carbon sequestered.
Donors and corporate partners receive periodic impact reports with per-tree survival status, carbon metrics, and geotagged photo evidence. No greenwashing. Just numbers.
Exact latitude/longitude captured via mobile app by Kudumbasree field staff on Day 1. Immutable record from the first moment.
Native species name, land type, soil condition, and planting date logged against each GPS coordinate in our database.
Every 6 months, a paid field inspector measures Girth at Breast Height. Photos, measurements, and survival status uploaded to the system.
GBH data feeds the IPCC Tier-2 allometric equation for tropical mixed forests. Output: verified tonnes of COโ sequestered per tree per year.
Donor or corporate partner receives a signed impact certificate with exact coordinates, species name, GBH readings, and calculated COโ sequestered.

OmyEarth is a registered environmental foundation focused on verified native tree plantation. We work with corporates as a sustainability service partner โ providing end-to-end plantation execution, GPS-tracked monitoring, and IPCC-based carbon impact documentation for your ESG and sustainability reports. Reach out to our team to discuss your organisation's requirements.
Every tree is GPS geo-tagged at planting. Every 6 months, a trained field inspector physically visits, measures the Girth at Breast Height (GBH), photographs the tree, and updates our database. You receive a bi-annual report with exact coordinates, live GBH measurement, and a survival confirmation. If a tree doesn't survive, we report it honestly โ and replace it under our care cycle protocols.
We plant only native species selected in collaboration with KFRI (Kerala Forest Research Institute) based on site-specific soil type, microclimate, and biodiversity needs. This means trees that belong in Kerala's ecosystem โ with significantly higher survival rates than exotics. Common selections include Teak, Mahogany, Indian Rosewood, Neem, Mango, Jackfruit, and other endemic species.
We use the IPCC Tier-2 methodology, the international standard for tropical mixed forest carbon calculations. The input variable is Girth at Breast Height (GBH), measured bi-annually by certified field inspectors. GBH feeds the allometric biomass equation for the species, producing a scientifically defensible estimate of COโ sequestered per tree. Output: a per-tree, per-year COโ figure that can be verified and audited.
Ground execution is carried out by Kudumbasree women's self-help groups (SHGs) โ Kerala's established community network with over 4 million members. This approach creates direct, dignified livelihood for women at the grassroots level, embeds the plantation in the local community (improving long-term survival), and eliminates the fly-in-fly-out model that dooms most drives.
We plant on voluntary private land (landowners who grant 5-year planting access agreements), degraded community lands, and government-approved locations in Kerala. All sites are assessed for accessibility (for bi-annual inspections), soil quality, water availability, and biodiversity value before a single tree is ordered.
OmyEarth is a registered environmental foundation (NGO) working to restore India's forests through tech-monitored native tree plantation. We partner with individuals, communities, and corporates who share our commitment to verified, long-term environmental impact.
